William holds a Diploma (Level 7) and BSc Honours Degree (Level 8) in Counselling & Psychotherapy from PCI College/Middlesex University.

William adheres to the code of ethics of the Irish Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (IACP) and has accredited membership with this organisation.

Williams approach is humanistic, collaborative and integrative. He draws on a range of modalities including cognitive behaviour therapy (CBT) and psychodynamic theory, based on the particular needs of the client.

He provides a secure, non-judgemental environment in which the client is supported by the understanding that healing and progress can be achieved by meeting the client exactly where they are in their therapy journey. William has also helped clients gain a better understanding of their internal capacity for self-healing.

Experience & Areas of Interest

William works with adults covering a range of issues including but not limited to, work-related issues, relationships issues, health issues, LGBTQIA+, anxiety and depression, low self-esteem, and grief.

He has a keen interest in addiction and trauma and intends to pursue his MSc in Addiction Counselling & Psychotherapy.
