Marian Cusack

Training & Accreditation

Marian began her training in 2015. She currently has a Certificate in Counselling and Psychotherapy from PCI college and a Diploma and Honours Degree in Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy from IICP college. She is a fully accredited member of the Irish Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists (IACP).

Approach

Marian works by providing a safe, nurturing, and compassionate space in which you can become enabled to heal and grow. She is committed to building a collaborative therapeutic relationship in which you will feel heard and understood and accepted. This connection then becomes the first step towards you building and having a supportive, nurturing, and compassionate relationship with yourself. Through therapy you can also learn how to recognise and understand negative patterns of behaviour which have been causing suffering and stress in your life and learn new ways of behaving and being. She uses an integrative approach meaning she adapts her style to meet your individuality and your needs.

Experience & Areas of Interest

Marian has worked with a diverse range of people and presenting issues including anxiety, stress, trauma and PTSD, relationship difficulties, grief and loss, bereavement, esteem and self- worth issues and addiction. She has extensive experience of working with a wide range of cultural backgrounds.
