Lesley believes in the importance of providing a safe, secure, and non-judgmental space where clients feel heard, respected, and supported. She understands that every individual’s experience is unique and works collaboratively with clients to explore the challenges they may be facing. Using an integrative and client-centred approach to therapy, Lesley tailors her work to meet the specific needs of each person. She believes therapy can support individuals in developing self-awareness, building resilience, understanding patterns of behaviour, and creating meaningful change at a pace that feels right for them. Her approach is compassionate, relational, and grounded in empathy, acceptance, and authenticity. Lesley provides both short and long-term therapy and currently works fully online.

Lesley has over 16 years’ experience working with adults with intellectual disabilities, dual diagnosis, mental health difficulties, neurodivergence, and trauma. Throughout her career, she has supported individuals with complex emotional, behavioural, and psychological needs across a variety of care and therapeutic settings.

Her professional experience has given her a strong understanding of the importance of holistic, person-centred support and the impact that relationships, environment, childhood experiences, and life events can have on emotional wellbeing. Lesley works with adults experiencing anxiety, depression, stress, low self-esteem, emotional regulation difficulties, trauma, grief and loss, burnout, relationship difficulties, and life transitions.

She has a particular interest in supporting clients who may feel overwhelmed, stuck, emotionally disconnected, or struggling with the lasting impact of difficult life experiences. Lesley is passionate about creating a therapeutic space that is supportive, collaborative, and adapted to the individual needs of each client, helping them to feel empowered, understood, and supported throughout the therapeutic process.
