Training & Accreditation
Katie Richardson is a fully qualified counsellor and psychotherapist. She holds a B.Sc Honours Degree from Griffith College Dublin (ICHAS). She is currently undertaking a masters programme in Trinity College Dublin specialising in child and adolescent family strands.
This includes working with young individuals on a one to one basis, parent/s-child relationships, relationship/couples counselling and family group therapy.
Katie’s approach to counselling and psychotherapy is person-centred, integrating CBT and solution focused therapy to accommodate each client’s journey.
Experience & Areas of Interest
Katie has worked with various organisations such as The Rape Crisis Centre and Good2Talk and has gained vast experience working with clients of all ages. Katie has experience of working on a individual basis with clients in a therapeutic environment, dealing with a range of issues including bereavement, loss, grief, anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, addiction, trauma and sexual violence.
