Approach
By creating an open and trustworthy relationship in the therapy, both the client and I are better able to explore their difficulties, highlight how they may have become stuck, and offer them workable solutions to making key changes happen. It is essential to keep in mind that therapy is not a magic pill or a quick fix; therapy is a process that necessitates participation and investment from the client and therapist alike. But in the end, learning to notice and cope with feelings of sadness, fear, anger and pain, and making small changes to self-defeating behaviour can bring life-altering results.
Experience & Areas of Interest
Zuleika has experience supporting individuals with a wide variety of difficulties. These include traumatic experiences, relationship difficulties, self-esteem and identity problems, anxiety and mood difficulties, problems with body image and the use of food and other substances or behaviours to cope with life. Both office-based and online sessions are available.
