Eleanor works from a humanistic and integrative perspective; in other words she respects the uniqueness of each person and believes that no aspect of ourselves can be ignored; either mind, body, emotions or spirit.
Eleanor believes that a lot of the power of therapy happens in the relationship between the client and the therapist. She aims to provide a relationship where people can feel safe and comfortable to explore and understand themselves, their lives and their relationships. Part of the exploration can be looking at ways to begin to relate with ourselves differently, so we are more compassionate and kind to ourselves, rather than undermining and limiting ourselves. In this process we can learn new ways and inner resources that can support us in difficult times and give us experiences of wellbeing and connection; both to ourselves and others.
Her desire is to support people to live their lives to the full.
