Training & Accreditation
Carly Wallace is a (pre-accredited) member of Irish Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (IACP). Carly obtained a BA (Hons) degree in Counselling and Psychotherapy from Dublin Business School. Carly works in accordance and adheres to the Professional Code of Ethics as upheld by the IACP.
Approach
Carly believes that offering a safe space without judgement and building trust with her clients in the therapeutic relationship are the core elements to assist her clients to explore, understand and gain insight into the difficulties that they face in their lives. It is important to acknowledge the uniqueness and individuality of each client and working from a Humanistic and Integrative approach, Carly is able to draw on range of therapeutic models, including psychodynamic, person-centred, cognitive and existentialism. This allows for the individual needs of the client to be at the forefront of Carly’s work and disregarding a one size fits all approach.
Experience & Areas of Interest
Carly has worked with a variety of issues, including but not limited to anxiety, depression, low self-worth, relationship issues, grief and loss, and trauma. Carly also has a special interest in women’s issues.
