Diploma in Counselling & Psychotherapy, Professional Certificate in Creative Arts Therapies.
Lorraine studied Counselling and Psychotherapy at PCI College in Dublin. She is a pre-accredited member of the Irish Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (IACP) and adheres to their strict code of ethics and practise guidelines.
Lorraine works with an integrative counselling style believing that each client requires a different approach. Lorraine also uses creative arts for those clients that find verbal expression difficult.
Lorraine has a keen interest in the area of Dyspraxia DCD and co-occurring learning and attention issues. She has both personal and professional experience of Dyspraxia DCD and has volunteered with Dyspraxia DCD Ireland for over 8 years. Lorraine now works with parents of children with Dyspraxia DCD giving them support and understanding. She also works with young adults giving them support and tools to assist them achieve their full potential.
Lorraine is also a general counsellor working in the areas of mental health issues, anxiety, stress, depression, self-harm, sexuality, women’s issues, bereavement, health issues, allergies.
