Sinéad works from a person centred approach, supporting the young person on their journey, understanding of their experiences and acceptance of self and others. Children and adolescents often find it difficult to express themselves verbally. Play therapy provides a child the opportunity to ‘play out’ their thoughts, feelings and problems, just as, in certain types of adult therapy, an individual ‘talk out’ their difficulties. Equally, creative psychotherapy provides the adolescent with creative arts to aid expression. It is a form of psychotherapy and counselling that facilitates expression through creative media as well as talk.

Sinéad works with a broad range of Issues including anxiety, depression, low mood, gender identity, bullying, self esteem, trauma, eating disorders, attachment and relationship difficulties and any adjustment issues facing young people.
