Robbie holds a Higher Diploma in Counselling and Psychotherapy and a Master of Arts in Psychotherapy from the Dublin Business School.  Working with individual clients, Robbie will meet you with an open, non-judgmental approach in which the therapeutic space facilitates and enables personal growth. In providing Counselling/Psychotherapy Robbie works in an Integrative Humanistic way drawing from a number of theoretical approaches including Gestalt, Existential, Person Centred and Cognitive therapies. Underpinning this is a Psychodynamic approach in which the client therapist relationship facilitates the safe exploration of early relationships and the capacity to growth and change.

From a background in the commercial sector and several years in the voluntary and community sectors Robbie has extensive experience of working in supportive and facilitating roles with individuals and groups with varying needs and from a variety of backgrounds.  Robbie also holds a BA in Humanities and an MBS in Safety and Health at Work. He is a Pre-Accredited Associate Member of the Irish Association of Humanistic and Integrative Psychotherapy (IAHIP) and adheres to their Ethical guidelines and standards. Robbie also attends regular supervision and engages with continual professional development.
