CreativityWhen it comes to looking after your mental health finding ways to express yourself is a sure way to a healthier and fuller life. As children we spent hours drawing, writing, painting, telling stories, singing and dancing. However as adults we are often embarrassed to engage in activities that involve creative expression in the fear that we might look “silly”.

Using creative channels helps you express how you feel or how you would like to feel. This is sometimes the best way to get rid of negative energy by releasing it through creative expression. Expressing yourself enables you to better understand yourself, to become more self-aware and most importantly to have fun!
